This Amazing and Unique piece of blown glass was created in a Peter Layton's London Studio. Signed by Peter Layton, it was a exploratory piece where Peter was collaborating with others - probably Layne Rowe as the colours of the base are "so him", but it is also similar colouring to Peter's Giraffe range. They were trailing clear glass to see what it would look like and this pretty unique item was created. It is not huge so its easy to find somewhere special to display this one-off piece signed by Peter in 2016 in front of WOW's Caroline Salmon. The signature is a bit "wobbly" as can be seen in the photo as he was writing on a round surface! The Orb is a nice size about 16cm tall and 16cm across.
