This beautifully shaped heritage piece was made in porcelain in London by Phylis Dupuy probably around 2010. She is now better known as a portrait painter, but this was made when she was a full time potter.
It is a very delicate turquoise glaze that has intentionally been allowed to run to create fine "hare's fur" patterns to show of intentionally less glazed areas. Gold leaf squares were applied below a ring of lustre in its final controlled low firing below the nec, which was shaped in an unusual way in its wet state.
The vase is about 22cm tall, about 12cm in diameter at its widest point, and is more pale celadon green than might be indicated in the images.
