This subtle heritage piece was made in porcelain in London by Phylis Dupuy probably around 2010. She is now better known as a portrait painter, but this "second" was made when she was a full time potter. It is a very delicate pale blue and turquoise glaze that has intentionally been allowed to run to create fine "hare's fur pattterns and less glazed areas. Gold leaf squares over a band of gold were applied before the final controlled low firing.
The largest image shows a piece of glaze, just under 2cm long, is missing in the blue glaze at the base which probably occurred just after firing. Perfect this beautiful vase might have been £175 or even £225.
The vase is about 22cm tall, about 11.5cm at the rim.
