This delicate etching "Superior Specimens" as inspired by the flowering iris plants in my garden. This is an Artis's colour proof.
They are is individually printed on cream paper with torn paper edges. On printing the etched plate left an indent in the damp paper which measures 37.5cm high and 13cm across.
These prints are sold as an unframed print wrapped in cellophane, allowing the purchaser to frame as they desire.
