Aquatint Etching - Ready for Cutting, IoW - Edition of 20

Printed on paper with torn edges, The "Ready for Cutting " is  inspired by fields seen on the Isle of Wight. In colours similar to nature it is an Edition of 30. This print has an interesting feature in that the plate was over burned in the acid so some areas print through holes in the plate, which actually adds something rather nice!

The plates are is individually inked using multiple colours on the plate one at a time, and printed using a one print process, so the colour can vary slightly.  On printing the etched plate leaves an indent in the damp paper which measures 20cm high and 21cm across.

These prints are sold as an unframed print wrapped in cellophane allowing the purchaser to frame it as they desire.
